Effect: Unlike Prediction Badge, (If you haven't read about it, please do), this is a fun way to simply reveal a forced card. A card is chosen by a spectator. You show a fun electronic top and explain that it can play various games. For instance it can act like the old "Magic 8 Ball" and answer yes and no questions, which you demonstrate by spinning the top. LED lights spell out the answers on the spinning top, but stay static even though the top is spinning, unlike the turning message on the left (creative license in the pursuit of fun!) But you say it would be more impressive if it could answer meaningful questions like "What's this person's card?" With that you spin the top again and in a three part message it spells out "Your Card Is", "The Five Of", "Diamonds". Actually you can use any card of your choice as the top comes ready for you to program.
This is a great toy. It answers "yes or no" questions, gives fortune telling type answers, plays games, even multi player, involving number of rotations, trying to grab it at a set number of rotations, trying to spin it to stop in a range of rotations, trying to get the most rotations out of it, etc., even secret hidden functions. All of these games have visual feedback as it counts rotations, shows high score, etc. But the thing that makes it fun for us as magicians, and possibly lets us write it off on our taxes, is the three section message memory that you can program and which plays sequentially. And the fact that the "8 Ball" function is one button push away from the custom messages is magical serendipity. $20 Postpaid
